Is It Bad That On

Usually, when one thinks of a new product or camera, you’ll usually equate price and quality together. If something is more expensive, it’s probably better. If something is cheaper, it’s probably less quality.

While that’s still genuinely true, there’s no such thing as a free lunch after all, if you haven’t looked at the latest HDMI touchscreen monitors in a while you might be surprised to see just how cheap and great the options have become.

Let’s take a look at these two new monitors from FeelWorld with their S55 V2 5.5” 4K Touchscreen HDMI Monitor which clocks in at under $100, and their slightly better F5 Pro X 5.5" High-Brightness HDMI Touchscreen Monitor which sits well below $200.

It’s crazy to think that you can get such a solid HDMI monitor these days for less than a hundred bucks. While it’s not going to be quite the same quality as a higher-end option from say, SmallHD or the like, this FeelWorld S55 V2 monitor should provide a solid amount of the specs, features, and usability which you can rely on for small to medium-sized productions.

With a native 1920 x 1152 resolution which supports video up to 4K (DCI), 500 cd/m² brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 you should be able to check your video in some of the brightest outdoor setups, all while not breaking the bank for this add-on video accessory.

Similarly, the FeelWorld F5 pro X monitor is just a solid of an option with some even slightly better specs and features. Again, these are cheaper selections below some of the higher-end options out there, but with prices dropping across the industry for monitors this F5 Pro X is more in-line with its greatest competition.

With 1080p60 resolution for 4K (DCI) video and added 1600 cd/m² brightness with 1000:1 contrast ratio, it should work for most indoor and outdoor video shoots. Plus, with the addition of support for 3D built-in LUT profiles where you can upload up to 32 custom 3D LUTs with just an SD card, it’s got some next-level capabilities as well.

Both monitors are currently available for purchase online, however, only the S55 V2 is currently available now.

However, the F5 Pro X should be shipping here soon as well.

The compact S55 V2 5.5" 4K touchscreen HDMI monitor version 2 from FeelWorld is suitable for both gimbal and handheld use. Creatives get HDMI input and output, multiple display features, and the ability to power select cameras via 8.4 VDC for only $99.
